You will submit your official RSVP for the Commencement Ceremony within your degree application.
Spring 2026 Undergraduate and Graduate Students
If you would like to walk in the May 2026 Ceremony, please be sure to apply for your degree on MavLINK by Friday, March 6, 2026 before ordering your cap & gown!Order your Cap & Gown Online immediately after applying for your degree. Deadline to order your cap and gown will be Friday, April 24, 2026.
Graduate College Commencement will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
Undergraduate Commencement will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026.

Summer 2026 Undergraduates and Graduate Students
If you would like to walk in the December 2026 Ceremony, please be sure to apply for your degree on MavLINK by Friday, June 26, 2026 before ordering your cap & gown!
Deadline to order your cap and gown will be in the Fall if you plan to walk in the December 2026 ceremony, so please wait to order your cap and gown. More details to follow.
UNO will not hold a July Commencement; the official degree conferral date is July 31, 2026.
Undergraduate students may walk in the May 2026 or December 2026 Ceremony. Graduate students may walk in the December 2026 Ceremony.
Undergraduate students wishing to walk in the May 2026 Ceremony must submit their summer application for degree by March 6, 2026.
