Customer Service

Store Pickup, Shipping & Delivery

You can purchase items online and pick them up at the UNO Bookstore, or have them delivered directly to your door. Below you will find the details about delivery, pickup, and managing your order.

Bookstore Policies

  • Orders cannot be held for In-Store Pickup after they have been placed.
  • The Shipping Method cannot be changed after an order has been placed.
  • UPS shipping fees are calculated by total price of items being purchased.
  • USPS and International shipping fees are flat rates. We only ship USPS if you have a PO Box, Military Base, or International address.
  • Risk of Loss: items purchased on the UNOBookstore.com website pass to the buyer once those items are possessed by the carrier.
  •  After you submit your online order, we will send a series of confirmation emails. (The type of email you receive is contingent upon the Delivery Method you choose).
    1. Order confirmation email - we confirm that we received your order and provide you with your Web Order Number.
    2. Shipped email - we let you know your order ships out on this day. Our UPS shipments leave our warehouse at 4:30 PM weekdays. USPS shipments leave our warehouse at 3 PM weekdays. Residence Hall deliveries leave our warehouse at 2:30 PM weekdays, and are taken to Campus Mail for next day delivery.
    3. In-store Pickup email -  we let you know your order is being processed and will be transported to the UNO Bookstore at 10:30 AM or 2:30 PM. Please give us some time to get your order moved before you come into the store.
    4. Order Canceled email - there are a few reasons why we would cancel your order. 1- you asked us to, 2- your credit card was declined, 3-we are out of stock and the item won't be replenished
    5. Backordered email - we are out of stock of an item, but the item is on its way to the Bookstore. The item will be processed, billed, shipped to you when it arrives.

UNO Bookstore Pickup

We use a warehouse fulfillment center for all online orders so it could take up to 2 business days to process, package and transport your order to the Bookstore. You'll receive a notification email when your item is available for pickup in the store. Please wait for this email before coming into the store.

You will need to bring your valid government-issued photo ID and Web Order Number. You may designate another person to pickup your order. They must have the Web Order Number and a valid government-issued photo ID.

Plan ahead! Our processing & packaging during peak periods in August, December, and January could take up to 2-3 business days.

Orders placed after 12 PM Friday through Sunday are typically ready Monday afternoon.

No refunds are available for textbook orders left in Bookstore pickup after the store's normal refund period for the semester. General Merchandise can be refunded up to 30 days from purchase. Please see further information regarding the Refund Policy.

Shipping & Delivery

Web orders generally ship in 1-2 business days, but during our peak months -August, December, January- processing & shipping time could take longer. Delivery times vary according to your delivery address, availability of your items, and the time of day you place your order.

Ships Time

The 'Ships' time is an estimate of when the item will leave our warehouse. For example, if an item displays "Ships in 1 business day" the item will leave our warehouse 1 business day after you place your order. While we work hard to ship every order as quickly as possible, certain times of the year may have longer ship times. 


We ship to businesses, residences, PO Boxes, military bases, and international residences outside the United States.

We use UNO Campus Mail to deliver to all UNO Residence Halls on Dodge & Scott campuses. There is no delivery fee, or minimum purchase to qualify for Res Hall Delivery.

UNO Bookstore Refund Policy

Web returns require a copy of the receipt. In person returns require original receipt and government issued photo ID.

  • Credit / Debit Card Refunds: We will credit the credit or debit card that was used to make the purchase. The refund waiting period is typically 7-10 days.
  • Checks:  Checks require a 10-day waiting period. After this time, we will issue a cash refund. 

Textbook Refund Policy

  • Last Day for a Full Refund: Friday of the 2nd week of the semester, (Friday, of the 1st week of each summer class start date) after that date, all sales are final.
  • New Books: Must be in new condition with all CD's, tapes, code cards and any supplements.

Helpful Tips: Do not remove shrink-wrap, write/mark in books, or remove any pages until you have attended class and are certain you have the correct book, or will not be changing/dropping classes.

General Merchandise Refund Policy

  • You must provide the original receipt and have a valid government-issued photo ID.
  • Merchandise must be returned in original condition, and in unopened, original packaging.
  • Calculators, electronics and software are non-returnable if opened.
  • Store Management reserves the right to make the decision on the condition or salability of the return.

Web Returns by Mail

All items purchased on this website follow the above Refund Policies and must include a copy of the Web Order receipt.
